6AM, the sun has been up for two hours or so. This is the fancy expensive car Celebrity Cruises provides. We did not pay the extra $50 per person to have the skyview windows.
In an Alaskan summer, the sun almost always comes in at an angle.
Basically a little baby glacier
We got some time in the observation car. We did not pay for the fancy car in the first slide, so we had to walk to this one and spend 20 minutes in it, to enjoy the views.
Finally, I said "screw the observation car" and started hanging out on the deck between cars, where the wind is cold and you get shaken around quite a bit. That is how I took all the good pictures with no window glare in them.
